Dr. Charlene Cook started Central Georgia Equine Services in 1988 because she wanted to put horses first. Central Georgia Equine Services started with just Dr. Cook, her truck, and one barn. She cares for each horse as if it’s her own and that policy quickly expanded her clientele. Today, Central Georgia Equine Services is a 70-acre facility with multiple barns, specialized staff, an on-site farrier, and state-of-the-art equipment. Every equine need can be met with the main clinic, laboratory, pharmacy, foaling barn, isolation barn, private paddocks, and pastures.
